at 38240 Kenai Spur Highway in
Soldotna, Alaska is a
corporation
licensed to perform surveying
and engineering in Alaska,
Arizona and Hawaii.
Founded by Mr. Stanley S.
McLane, a Professional Land
Surveyor in 1960, McLane
Surveying was a family owned
business on the Kenai Peninsula.
A lifelong Alaskan resident
Stanley was extremely familiar
with our state’s unique
environment and logistical
challenges that had to be overcome
to successfully perform
projects.
The firm now known as McLane
Consulting, Inc. is currently
owned and operated by his sons
Stan A. McLane, a Professional
Engineer and Professional Land
Surveyor, M. Scott McLane, a
Professional Land Surveyor and
grandson Cody R. McLane, a
Professional Engineer.
McLane Consulting, Inc. is an
Alaskan Small Business capable
of mobilizing for projects
anywhere in the state and ready to
meet the needs of any of our
clients. We provide Conventional
Surveying and GPS Surveying
Services, Digital Mapping,
Hydrographic Surveying, Civil
Engineering and Materials
Testing services for private,
industrial, and governmental
clientele.
Our professional staff includes
three (3) licensed Professional
Engineers, and three (3)
licensed Professional Land
Surveyors. We provide software
enhancement tools for real time
GPS navigation, hazardous
response, E911, street
addressing, and natural resource
applications. Key staff members
have worked together their
entire professional career and
have over ninety (90) years of
combined professional Alaskan
project experience. They have
developed a well-qualified
organization by blending
together education, years of
field experience and a
dedication to professionalism.
McLane Consulting, Inc. is proud
of the fact that we have
provided engineering and
surveying support services for
some of the largest civil
projects ever constructed in
South Central Alaska including
the Bradley Lake Hydroelectric
Project, the Steelhead Oil and
Gas Platform, the UNOCAL
Chemical and Ammonia Plant, the
Chevron Nikiski Refinery, the
Tesoro Refinery and the Phillips
LNG Nikiski Plant.
